Our commitment to your privacy
Silverfish Harmonicas are committed to protecting your privacy and will ensure that the information we obtain and use will always be processed and transferred in compliance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations. To better protect your privacy we provide this explanation of our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
Dealing with personal information
Silverfish Harmonicas will only collect and process statistically-anonymous access figures from the web space provider, and this will not include any personal user information. The statistical access figures include, for example, the web sites that are accessed most frequently, as well as the previous page used to access the web site (e.g. via a search engine).
Silverfish Harmonicas uses Google Analytics to track use of particular Internet pages. The information which is produced and used in this way cannot be used to identify any specific individual – it does not contain any details of names, e-mail addresses, residential addresses or telephone numbers. This statistical data is not related back to individual people and is processed on an anonymous basis. It should be noted, however, that all Internet users leave traces when visiting web sites, and that these traces could be used later for identification purposes, for instance by using the IP address.
No other personal information will be stored without your permission. You alone decide whether you wish to disclose your personal information to Silverfish Harmonicas, for instance when ordering a microphone. All information that is collected in this manner is handled in complete confidence, and is not disclosed to any third party without permission. It will only be stored while it is being used to carry the processing of your order and will then be fully erased. This information will not be passed to third parties for advertising purposes.
Silverfish Harmonicas uses Google Analytics to measure the number of visitors and does not utilise specific cookies placed on the user’s hard drive.
This website uses Google Analytics reports of demographic characteristics. This data is not attributable to a specific person and can be deactivated at any time via the display settings.
Right of disclosure
In accordance with the current law, if requested to do so, Silverfish Harmonicas will notify you in writing and free of charge whether we are storing any personal information about you, and what this information comprises.
Our commitment to data security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place safeguards to secure the information we collect online.
Our web site may show feedback from customers who have shared their opinion of one or more of the microphones or products. Feedback may include basic and vague information on source such as name, city and country and will not include specific details of address, telephone or email. Furthermore this information is held only for the purpose of processing the order and is then permanently deleted by Silverfish Harmonicas.
Our commitment to accuracy
Should there be any inaccuracies in the information of which you inform us, or of which we become aware, please let us know and it shall be promptly rectified by us.
Our commitment to children’s privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, when a visitor we actually know is under 13 years of age provides us with an e-mail address in the course of using our website and registers to receive marketing information from us, his/her parent or guardian will receive an e-mail notification (to the address the child has supplied for them) that provides the parent or guardian with instructions on how to remove his/her child’s email address from our mailing list. If such a user wins any contest, notification of the win will also be sent to the parent or guardian’s e-mail address provided by the child when he/she enters the contest concerned.
Silverfish Harmonicas’ “Silver Bullets” are small artisan-quality handmade harmonica microphones built to the highest quality standards. However, like any handmade instrument the sound may vary very slightly between microphones. The high quality components are selected and rigorously tested for quality but their performance characteristics do sometimes differ. The specifications listed for the Silver Bullet microphones therefore represent a minimum sensitivity standard and may therefore be exceeded but not compromised. This specification threshold as well as outstanding reliability and build quality is guaranteed.
How to contact us
12 month no quibble warranty and guarantee
Silver Bullet microphones are incredibly robust and are precision built for reliable quality. They are very durable and should last a very long time. However, in the event of a problem with any of the components all harmonica microphones are supplied with a 12 months warranty. This comprises a no quibble 12 months parts and labour warranty. Replacement or repair is at the discretion of Silverfish Harmonicas.
The guarantee excludes damage to the housing through dropping or miss-use and the guarantee is void if the microphone has been dismantled.
The guarantee includes the cost of returning the microphone to you; however excludes return postage costs. If you have a problem with your microphone then please make contact through the web-site contact form submission.
